Back to school shopping can be a pain.   One American retailer is making our jobs as moms a bit easier with a online closet creator and great prices.Walmart is one of my back to school retailers for a few reasons. . .price, selection, and quality is a must in my book when it comes to shopping for clothes for my daughter.  Walmart so happen to provide all three and I completed my daughter shopping for school outfits at Walmart.

Now let me start off by saying that my daughter attends Catholic school and is required to wear school uniforms.  However, her school has a few out of uniform days and she has many after school programs that does not require her to wear uniforms.  To help my daughter and I select outfits we used the  Walmart’s online “Back to School Closet Creator”.   Walmart’s online “Back to School Closet Creator” help us see how other moms are shopping and saving on apparel this back-to-school season. The online tool helps you mix and match outfits on a budget and browse “closets” other moms have created with clothes from our top brands. You can even share your custom closet on Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter!The Back to School Closet Creator helped me see what my daughter wanted to wear on non uniform days.  It also gave me a look into her style that she prefers which is princess/rocker girl/glitter lover.

Now that I know what my daughter wanted I set off and went to my local Englewood Walmart to pick up the items she selected.  Keep in mind that not all stores would have the exact items in the store.  I had to improvise and select similar items that my daughter wanted.  Check out the selection that my local Walmart had.

Sweatshirts for Fall

Walmart gave me the challenge to get 5 days of after school clothing for my daughter for only $75.00.  At fist, I thought that I couldn’t pass the challenge. Howver, I passed with flying colors.  Check out the 5 after school outfits that I got from Walmart for under $75.00  Walmart’s has Satisfaction Guarantee which ensures moms feel confident in their children’s new back-to-school outfits. If for some reason you’re unhappy with any apparel item, simply bring it back within 90 days for a full refund. {Now isn’t that nice of Walmart}

Total Cost: $70.56

Walmart wants to put you yo to the challenge  and see how many outfits you can get for $25 from Walmart.  Walmart will reward (1) Sister Save-A-Lot reader with a $25 gift card to help you create your own back-to-school looks for less.

    Wow……my budget is, well, Im not sure. I have 2 in 2nd grade and 1 in college. The 2nd graders wear uniforms and the college student, well he is coming out of uniforms so we have to restock his closet. So the more I can get for my dollar is a great deal to me!
