So far, my daughter and I are enjoying our summer of frugal family fun. Last week, she started summer camp and now doesn’t have to stay home with granny while I work. While, this is good for her, I feel like we are back on a school schedule. No matter what the fun will still continue.
The weekend of June 16th my daughter had her 1st Lemonade Stand Sale. My little one asked me for a new American Girl doll. I told her that we would visit the Chicago American Girl Store and purchase new clothes for her dolls, she has bigger dreams. She wanted a new doll, I informed her that if she earns half, I would pay for half.
While, I had this conversation with her she went into action and asked granny for help. Granny helped her earn money by picking up sticks in the yard, taking out the trash, and doing other small chores around the house. Granny also help her with the lemonade stand. Madison made a whopping $107.25! More then enough for a new American Girl doll. I want to thank all of the Sister Save-A-Lot readers who stopped by and purchase a cup of lemonade! We appreciate your support. I also want to thank my family and friends who stopped by also. Love you guys!! Check out the photos below . . .

So darn cute! I would come over and grab a cup if I were in the area
That’s great! It’s never too early to teach good lessons in earning what you want!
Awesome! We had a lemonade stand this week, too! I couldn’t believe the kindness of strangers and who stopped to get a glass!
Steph
That is awesome! Wow, what a successful lemonade stand. I’m so impressed! What will she do with her “extra” money?
Great job! I know here that you have to a permit to even do that so nothing like taking away the kids fun!
Holy COW! What a little entrepreneur you have there! And that is one of the cutest lemonade stands I’ve ever seen! (The salesperson, of course, was the cutest!)
Awww!!! that is awesome! Passing on your entrepreneurial spirit to her. I love it
