I am More than a Couponer

I am more than a couponer.  I am a mother, sister, single parent, teacher, social service worker, blogger, consultant, speaker, and coupon saving chicak.  For quite some time, I wanted to share with my readers things that are going on in my life and talk more about current events other then the “Coupon of the Day’.   Don’t get me wrong, life is good;  but life is busy.  Unlike other major coupon bloggers, I have a full time job and do not have time to share deals as much as I would like.  Last year, being on TLC Extreme Couponing allowed me the opportunity  to experience so much, but it took away time from my family.  This year, I told myself that I was going to put my family first, and I hate to say this but my blog last. |

By putting my blog last, it does not mean that I would not be blogging.   However, the Sister Save-A-Lot blog is taking a turn and will embrace the tag line of my blog; “Mastering Frugal Living”.  Frugal living does not mean that you are cheap; it does not mean that you say in the house and don’t experience life.  Frugal living is a lifestyle, and it is a lifestyle that I am embracing and hope that you will too!

Because I am a single parent and I have to hold things down, I had no choice at embracing frugal living.  When I look to the right, left, front, and behind me I see me.  I only have me to look at for assistance when it comes to providing for me and my daughter.  With that said there will be a few changes coming to Sister Save-A-Lot.  I will still provide my readers with my Coupon of the Day, Groupon Deals, Operation Stockpile Deals, Coupon Classes/Parties, and FREE samples.  However, I want my Sister Save-A-Lot Blog to help other single parents like myself who has to do it all.  I doubt that anyone grew up wanting to be a single parent, but life goes on and you have to do the job that God intended for us to do. 

I hope that my Sister Save-A-Lot readers continue to support this blog by reading, sharing, and attending coupon classes, but I hope that my journey as a single parent can help someone else.  I thank you so much for all of your support and hope that you continue to come back and read.
