I love shopping and saving, but I love getting money back when I do so. My new coupon obsession is “Mail in Rebates”. A MIR requires you to mail in a coupon, a receipt and barcode in order to receive a cheque for a particular amount, depending on the particular product, time, and often place of purchase. This year alone I have received $6.00 from my MIR. While, I am not going to quit my day job with the rebate checks, I am able to get money back on items that my family use.

for $12.89. However, I saw a MIR in the store. The MIR was for $10.00 back for purchasing the beer.
